1. Out of Haslemere in the direction of the Petworth Road. Take the first road right after the Lythe Hill Hotel, heading towards Lurgashall, Lickfold and Lodsworth. Not long after passing through Lickfold, take a left signposted Leggatt Hill. When you see a FP on the left, park the car.
2. This leads immediately to a FP right, and when you reach an open field, carry straight on. This takes you to the right of River Park Farm and a lake. Straight on, and ignoring any sign to the right, you will reach Mill Farm.
3. Turn left at the road, which then turns into a track. At the gate, ignore the sign to the right and carry straight on. You will pass a FP going right, ** so take the next FP left. Keep to the right of this field and just follow the signs.
4. This takes you along the side of Lord’s Wood, and when you reach an X-road, turn right. You will recognise that that is where you went straight on your outward journey.
5. And so back to your car. If you are an aficionado of elderflower, wine, cordial, or whatever, lots to reap on this walk.

** Or carry straight on until you reach the road. Then turn left, and after about 5 minutes walk take the FP left. This leads round Redens. And when you come to a junction turn left. This leads you back, past Lod House, to your car.
