Henley/Courts Farm/Hurstfold Farm/Verdley Wood.
Same arrival point as Walk 11, but the bad bit on that walk is still appalling. Only vaguely worth it in prolonged dry weather.
1. Having parked, take the lower of the two paths, below the pub. Keep going straight, ignoring any paths to right or left. It is a well-defined track with an option of walking some of the way beside it on a FP – your choice.
2. On reaching a minor road turn left and immediately turn right through and up across a field to reach a stile. Turn right along an access road past Bridgelands until you reach a T .
3. Turn right past Hurstfold Farm, and take the first FP to the right just before the entrance to Surney Farm. Keep going and turn left when you reach a T. Quite a lot of tracks, but just follow the official FP signs. (Also nowadays everywhere many Serpent trails).
4. When you come to another T, turn right and that will take you back to the FP above the pub, and hopefully your car.
