Whitters Copse/Vining Common/Bexleyhill.
1. Take the A286 south from Haslemere, and instead of turning right into King Edward VII Hospital, turn left – a narrow road. Just before you arrive at a T-Junction, park your car on the grass on the left.
2. Go to the T and cross straight over, ignoring a track, which goes half right. This leads to Grevatts Farm, so again straight through, ignoring invitations to go right or left.
3. Down to an X-road, with Vining Farm on your right, and turn sharpish left. Follow that path all the way to a minor road, having previously born left at an Y junction.
4. Just before the road follow the FP to the left which takes you past Nightingales, the FP being just before and to the left of a wall. Take the first FP to the right, and this will take you to the same minor road, but further on.
5. Turn left along the road and you will shortly come to where you started.
A slightly shorter walk, but quite a few ups and downs!
