1. Leave Haslemere en voiture in the direction of Liphook. Take the first left-hand turn to Linchmere; keep going until you reach a T-junction. Turn right and you will shortly reach a lay-by on the left. Park there.
2. Follow the FP left past an information board, ignore any signs left, or even straight on, and follow the path round to the right. When you reach a seat bear left down the hill, until you come to a 5 way sign. Take the SBP path almost straight on between two ponds up an incline.
3. Ignore a sign to the left and take the first path to the right (still the SBP), which goes up an incline. Straight on until you reach an X-road, where you turn left along a vehicle track. This leads to Stanley Farm, which you pass on your left, then you go downhill until you reach a T-junction and turn left.
4. Follow this path, and you will pass Newlands Cottage on your right up to Corner Cottage and the road. Turn left along the road, and almost at once take the FP to the left. This passes a pond, up and down a bit, until you reach a T-junction. Turn left and at the next set of signs turn right.
5. You will see a building on your right – Danley Farm – so follow the signs, which will take you, left of the farm, up a hill to join the road to the farm. Along the road a shortish distance, then take the first FP to your left. Carry straight on and this will bring you back to your car.
